(More customer reviews)Sandisk always makes quality USB drives. This drive comes with a big 4gb of storage space, and it's also U3 smart so it's got the sandisk U3 launcher/applications included.
If you're not happy with the U3 luncher/applications that came preinstalled with the drive, just get the uninstaller from the U3's website and it'll take care of it for you.
One good feature is that the USB head can be stored into the body of the USB drive with the flick of the white switch, so that means no more lost caps!
Overall this is a good product and I highly recommend sandisk if you're ever looking for a new USB Flash drive.

(More customer reviews)I usually don't do reviews, but I am so happy with this purchase I had to. I searched around for an entire month trying to find the right receiver. I think that for the money this product is hands down a total score! It has an aux and a usb. Now, when I purchased this I was thinking on using the ipod with the aux input originally. While the usb port can be used for direct Ipod connection and memory stick media (memory stick media?!) I figured I'd only use it to charge my ipod once the bat was running low. I have heard such bad things about ipod/usb functionality in radio receivers that I never thought I would actually use it. I love my ipod, and with the 32,000+ songs I have on there, being able to quickly scroll to what I want is essential, and its pretty hard to keep track of the new stuff I put on because I don't have enough time in the day to listen to all the songs, so I do a lot of rating. trying to scroll through quickly using any receiver search button seemed like a joke and you can't rate songs when you can't use the ipods native click wheel. But i digress. The point is I looked in the manual and found "hands-on/hands/off". With the ipod plugged into the usb port on the receiver I can hit 1 and 3 on the radio and switch between the modes. Now I can use the benefits of the usb port (charging, quality sound) AAAAND use my ipods native clickwheel functionality at the same time. I don't even use the aux anymore! and whenever I decide I want to listen to the ipod on random i just push button 1 on the radio and my artist/album scroll across the screen and I am still happy. The only thing so far that is negative are:
1.the screen during the day is almost impossible to see with sunlight on it. it just looks pink.
2.when using the awesome usb mode i quickly mentioned up top.....for the first 30 seconds in either hands-on/hands-off mode you get a little song distortion because it is loading up i guess. Like i said i have over 30,000 songs and if i get 2 noise interruptions for a second a piece for the first 30 seconds of run-time and thats it, i'd say this is an outstanding product for all who love using there ipods in the car! buy it. u will be very happy. also, I have 4 polk audio db and they sound outstanding with all but a tiny fragment of songs in the hip-hop genre.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this deck to replace the stereo that was stolen from my truck in late November. I received the unit in early December, however I wasn't able to install it for a couple weeks because my truck was in the body shop. It has a lot of nice features but the Radio Reception (HD and regular) sucks, no big deal I'll just play Cd's. However shortly after installing it I had intermittent issues with it loosing radio station presets, and the amp trigger wasn't working most of the time, which is a big deal for me as I have subs in my truck. After extensive searching for bad connections in my wiring I discovered that the problem was inside the stereo itself. I pulled the stereo out and sent a message to Dual using their "Contact Us" link on the website. After waiting a week with no response, I called their Customer "Support" number. I told them what I found and they VERY RUDELY told me how to send it in for warranty repair/replacement. I received the replacement last week and installed it this weekend. I have yet to be able to play a whole song through an MP3 CD without it stuttering or skipping and radio reception still sucks. I don't want to deal with their support again, Maybe that was their goal? Dual is a cheap manufacture with terrible quality control, and horrible customer support. Keep away. Now I have to decide what to do about this stereo as it is beyond the return period.

It's performance is practically flawless --- Except the speakers, which are the worst. You can barely hear music from them. So I purchased these speakers for a boost in sound and they work great. I think they're priced a little high, but they do have a tremendous sound for the size. Very portable and easy to take along.I would recommend them for the traveler. (More customer reviews)I installed this unit in a 92 dodge 4X4 deisel pickup. The blue tooth works really well, my truck is fairly loud because of the deisel engine and the tires. While driving the called party can hear some background noise but my voice is loud and clear above it. I have called my own answer machine to check it. The radio and CD player work well, I also bought the HD radio adapter and it all sounds good. Like so many new things these days it has a lot of features, but navigating the menu while driving is nearly impossible. I set everything up in my driveway now I just drive and live with it. I wish they still had old fashion bass and treble nobs because making changes require navigating through the menus. I would say the inability to make simple adjustments easily is the biggest downfall. All in all I like the unit and would definitely recommend it.

(More customer reviews)Installed this last week in my 2008 Jeep Commander. It was a pretty easy install, minus dropping the headliner in my jeep which consumed most of my time.
The picture on the unit is very good! Also, like the FM Transmitter function to tune it into my Jeeps stereo. One small problem is I do get some interferance with the FM Transmitter when I am in the city or very built up areas. I have yet to try all the FM frequency's within its range yet. On a side note I spoke to my local stereo install shop and they stated they add length to the Antenna wire when they put it above the head rest and this corrects that issue. I will try that next. The unit also works perfect with the IR (Infa Red) headphones I purchased seperately. Also, I like the fact you can get these in multiple colors to match the interior of the car. Hey for $150 and a few hours to install very nicely, it can't be beat and looks nicer than some factory setups.
I would purchase again and do recommend this item.

Not only does it transfer across my entire condo (approx 60 feet, through 3 walls), but it works with Linux too! Two thumbs way up.
At first I wasn't sure how to switch my audio output on my Linux operating system (from the jack to USB), but then the customer support at Plugable.com gave me a couple suggestions (under 24 hour response), and I was set. Griffin Technology RadioShark AM / FM Desktop Radio with Time-Shift Recording Review

(More customer reviews)I already have a couple software programs that will automatically record and save radio programming but when the Radio Shark was announced, I couldn't resist. Mac elegance, simplicity and functionality. Or so I thought. The product is solid, well made and the software is easy to use. Unfortunately, the reception is unacceptably poor in my suburban, residential area. Every radio I own from clock radios, a couple Tivoli Pal's, a built in-whole house system, mini-systems and so on receive programming easily. The Radio Shark's reception is inferior to even the lowliest of portables. I've tried everything I can think of. Coiling the USB cable, moving it to every place within reach, using a high dollar shielded usb extension cable which also allowed me to move the Shark further from the computer), using the Radio Shark's headphone input with a pair of ear buds and a minijack to rca cable (as Griffin's website suggests). Nothing seems to help. I have two other radios within 18 inches of computers and they were pretty easy to set up and receive clear, static free programming. The Radio Shark has been a huge disappointment. I should have learned my lesson after purchasing the Power Mate from this company. The Power mate (ditto for the Radio Shark) is very high quality piece of hardware from a fit and finish standpoint but the software was glitchy with a pc. Maybe it would have been better with a mac. But I digress. Perhaps if you live far from all urban and suburban interference or live on a hill with better line of site to the towers you want to receive from, the Radio Shark might be fine. For the rest of us, the Radio Shark is likely to disappoint. If you want to time shift radio programming, I can recommend two excellent pieces of software. High Criteria's Total Recorder Pro (for the pc) and Rogue Amoeba's Audio Hijack Pro for the Mac. I don't work for or profit from either comany. I use both on a daily basis. Both are rock solid. All you need to do is connect a radio to your pc or mac and you're set.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this product for my wife's car from an online retailer. The first item that I received stopped working within the third week and they sent me another one. The new one is still working after 3 months, but has lots of problems. If you are getting this for its handsfree phone capability, beware that it is somewhat useless. It is easy to connect to your phone, but making decent phone conversation is difficult because of the inferior speaker and microphone quality. The gps portion is pretty annoying as well. The cold start takes about 2 minutes when not in motion and about 4 minutes when in motion. In other words, when you start your car for the first time during the day, your gps is not available for the 2-4 minutes, which is unacceptable. Thankfully, it is not as bad when you start it again later in the day. The gps is pretty much useless in downtown area because it can not locate your actual position and it keeps trying to direct you to streets you already passed. I never used a portable gps unit before so I do not know if major portable units suffer from the same problems. It definetly does not compare to the harddisk navigation in my car. I would not recommend this product.

(More customer reviews)The USB cable looks and feels very similar to the apple one, but the chargers have a somewhat cheesy feel. Then again, that's totally to be expected when you buy a whole set for less than half the price of a cable or either charger alone from Apple or one of the name brand companies.
I also should note that the AC adapter is 100-240v compatible, so it can work worldwide. I was wondering about that when I bought it because none of the tech info mentioned it. In fact, the casing itself was designed to be used with the EU style plugs, and that's why it protrudes from the body of the case.
Also, the items I received look like the submitted picture, and not the MFG's picture, for what it's worth... Doesn't matter much because in any case the items aren't very aesthetically pleasing anyways.
Bottom line, from reading the other reviews it looks like they have QC issues, but I wound up with a perfectly functional set at a great price.

Wagan Twin USB and 12V DC Cup Holder Power Adapter Review

(More customer reviews)The Wagan Twin USB/DC Cup Holder Adapter is a very good value. Considering that I paid the same price for a single USB car lighter adapter, this is a great value. It's conveniently shaped like a cup-holder, with the added benefits of 2 included DC adapters and 2 USB adapters. So far all 4 adapters work perfectly.
This adapter definitely sits lower in my cupholder than what I was expecting. It looks taller in the product picture, but expect it to be just above flush with your cup-holder. If your car has two different sized cupholders, one larger than the other, this unit is designed to fit in the smaller standard size. For me that is the cupholder further from the control panel and closer to my center arm-rest.
The unit has four LED indicator lights so you can judge how many devices can be charged with it. This "Battery Level Indicator" feature is a nice extra, with "HIGH," "MID," "12V" and "LOW" indicators.
The product package indicates this unit works with standard 12V and 24VDC accessories. Apparently there's a fuse inside the unit in the event you over-use it, though I haven't yet had the fuze go on me.
CONSIDERATIONS
There are a few shortcomings to the product, all of which I would consider minor. First of all, the lighter cable is relatively short. That's ok if you are plugging it into the DC outlet on your control panel. Many newer cars also have DC outlets within the arm-rest console storage area. I found that the cord was just barely long enough to reach down into my car's storage compartment and be plugged in. That means for some vehicles, like larger cars and SUVs, it might be too short. The deeper the storage compartment, the more likely you are to have trouble using that DC outlet to power this adapter.
The two DC adapters are very deep within the unit, almost too deep. For many DC powered car accessories with shorter plugs, it seems like it might be possible to push them in too far and lose electrical contact.
The other minor negative was that the USB adapters are not perfectly parallel. They are separated by metal but the USB pins are embedded in tabs made of some kind of composite material. You have to carefully insert USB cables because if you don't you risk damaging your connector or the adapter.
CONCLUSION
This is a good unit even if it isn't perfect. Considering the price and the fact that the product performs as advertised, I still recommend this over most others I have tried. It's worth it to have a few extra adapter plugs available to charge your accessories and electronics in your car.
