Just be aware that this cable is 1 foot long- which is EXACTLY what I needed to go between my netbook & cMoyBB headphone amplifier during flights.
Actually, finding a quality short cable is hard to find, so this one fit perfectly! It looks like a high end cable (I do not wish to disassemble it to find out). It worked very well for me. There is nothing to complain about.

(More customer reviews)Very high quality product. I wouldn't mind to give it 5 stars if the male end is not abnormally large and it couldn't completely fit my laptop. I bought it for my desktop at work anyway so It worked well.
You should check your ear-phone port, if you don't have anything that may block it (eg. you have a microphone jack plugged in), this should be an excellent choice.

(More customer reviews)I've gone through many inferior 3.5mm cables in the past several months, looking for something with good sound quality in my car. Most cable jacks seem to wear out quickly, and the sound degrades. Usually one side goes out, or gets staticky. So I went for the big fat cable, which does not have these problems, but has an unanticipated problem: I mount my iPhone to the dash, and the jack sticks right up out of the iphone, into my field of view, and invariably gets in my way. It's incredibly annoying. I'm going to give this one to my husband, who doesn't mount his iPod and so doesn't have the same problem, and try this: InCarCables Car Stereo Ipod/mp3 Auxiliary Aux-in Input Cable 3.5mm (4ft/1.2m) Hopefully I'll get good sound AND a cable that's not in my way. Wish me luck.
