(More customer reviews)This seems to be well made for keeping your iPhone handy in the car and charging it. The clamps on the sides do not expand far enough to hold your phone if it is in a case. Maybe if it is a very thin hard case, but not a rubber or cushioned case. The FM transmitter worked as good as several others I have tried, but that is not saying much. After a few days, the LED on top that showed what station the transmitter was on quit working. The transmitter still works, but if I change stations on the transmitter, I have to find it on my radio by trial and error. If you want something to hold your phone where you can see it while you drive and charge it, this is a good product.
