The mic is heavy and functions reasonably well as a corded mic, but expect to replace the cable soon as it is cheaply made. However, if you are buying this mic for its wireless feature then look elsewhere. The wireless capability of the mic is extremely poor. The wireless range is only about 10 feet and it breaks up when you move around. The price is cheap, but so is the quality. Some might say you get what you pay for, but you can find a decent inexpensive wireless mic.
If you are looking for a inexpensive mic that works well, look into the Nady DKW-3, NADY SINGLE VHF WIRELESS MIC. The mic is made of cheap plastic but it has great wireless range and sounds reasonably well.
